The 10th Annual Duck Derby is a Las Vegas tradition, and Positively Kids signature fundraiser. Proceeds from the event provide funding for programs and services benefiting Las Vegas’ medically dependent and critically ill children and their families, and help make our community a better place to live.

The Foundation For Positively Kids is raising funds to open Nevada’s first pediatric skilled nursing facility.  This facility will care for medically fragile and terminally ill children between the ages of birth to 18 years.  It will be staffed by licensed pediatric professionals and will offer counseling and support for families whose children are facing a catastrophic injury or illness.

The business community, nonprofit organizations and individuals alike all join in to make this event a truly memorable experience. You too can help make the lives of Las Vegas’ medically dependent children more hopeful. Check out the sponsorship and volunteer opportunities at Postively Kids. Then, get involved!

What: With each $5.00 donation to the Duck Derby 2009 a rubber duck will be entered in your name.  Each duck will receive a corresponding adoption number.   You can also get 6 Rubber Duckies for $25.00  Deadline to purchase ducks is October 15th, 2009

Who: Special guests scheduled to appear:  Congresswoman Shelley Berkley, Special Guest Emcees, plus other surprise events and entertainment!
